Brae. A gay woman's tale!

I am off to the Lake District for a week of walking and drinking wine with Karen.  We will have the two doggies … and also meeting with with some ex army pals of mine for dog walk.

I am so looking forward to this holiday.  It will be my first time away in my new caravan too! … and it is so nice …. I just hope I remember how to work everything!

I’ve had quite a day so far … first of all woke up stiff as a board after pilates last night so went for an early swim to loosen me up …then went to a family visit in Cowdenbeath … Slipped in all the slush and landed on my bum! … no damage done but my coat and trousers were soaked through … thankfully I had just been to my family visit …. on the motorway coming home a lorry overtook on the other side and flung up a huge pile of slush that covered my windscreen … I could see it coming so held on … and just prayed my windscreen wouldn’t break .. thankfully it didn’t … I am now home … and staying there!

Oh my goodness, who would of thought I would wake up feeling like a plank of wood!

I was so stiff after my pilates last night I was actually creaking this morning … so … I went for a swim … only 20 lengths (plus ten minutes in the steam room) but now I am feeling great …

I am working all weekend … with a family visit later this morning then writing to do this afternoon … and the same tomorrow … but I think I might get up early and head to the pool again tomorrow morning … it was nice and quiet this morning …

a year ago, who would ever of thought I would be posting about going to the gym and swimming … I am so grateful to Abdur from Fife Physiotherapy … that man has given me my life back!
