A new addition

It doesn’t look as if my wee black cat Duffy is coming home. This is the third cat of mine that has disappeared… plus one killed on the road at the end of the lane.
I have decided no more cats… and so today Pixie joined the family!
She is a wee rescue dog… a Chorkie!!! She is a lovely wee thing and so tiny!

A lovely swim tonight at Silversands beach in Aberdour…the water was surprising warm(er) than I was expecting…. came across two problems… 1) my legs kept rising because I was wearing my wet suit and 2) my hi biz float kept slipping and tangling round my legs! Really enjoyed tonight and feel totally invigorated!! Loved it, loved it, loved it!

After all the hoohaa with my sister being in hospital, work and a holiday… my exercise routine was not as it should have been.
I decided to get back on track today… Spinning class, 30 lengths then 45 minutes Aqua aerobics.
I am now flat out on the sofa complaining like mad about my stiff legs! I feel good though!

Home after a fabulous 5 days away split between Kentallan near Ballachulish and Dornoch. The weather was kind to us too but my plans to swim at Dornoch were hit on the head due to the size of the waves!
Had some wonderful drives… most notably up to John O Groats then along the coast to Tongue followed by a 34 mile drive along a single track road through the most breath taking scenery back to Dornoch.
The only problems we had were with car… my fuel gauge stopped working… so I had to guess when to fill up… this bloody xtrail really is a crock of shite!… didn’t help matters when we visited Portmanonack … only car in the car park… when we returned after a walk on the beach we discovered someone had rammed the back of my car! No note left but it was a hefty blow… I suspect the dustbin lorry that was doing the rounds but I cannot prove it… the air was blue!
