We have one life… a life that is ours to shape anyway we want. If only we can overcome our pride and fear.

Not everyone will understand us… not everyone will like our decisions or the way we choose to live our lives.

That doesn’t matter, they are not living our life… they are just not brave enough to live theirs.

Our pride and our fears come from inside our own self and only we have the power to set them free.

Forget your pride… face your fears… and begin to live the life you want.

There were times when I forgot that work is not the purpose of life… but love and living are!

just home after a long day that hasn’t helped my back at all… I can’t believe I was so stupid in trying to weed but my back felt much better… now it’s killing me again! Sometimes I am my own worst enemy!

I think I may look into acupuncture… just to see if that makes a difference.

I should be writing but have had to come to lie down to see if I can stretch my muscles out. Winge winge moan moan Fuckity Fuck.

After all the hot weather we have been having, I thought I would treat wee Sprout to a paddling pool.

Does she paddle? Does she heck! But she and her best buddy Duffy now have a mammoth drinking bowl….

Life flings many hurdle in our way … sometimes they feel more like 10 foot brick walls … but unless we try to get over them we will always be stuck in the same place.

I recently took a deep breath and took a leap of faith … and found it was easier and nicer than I expected… and just like the butterfly who flaps it’s wings in a forest … the knock on effects have been huge… and very unexpected!

No longer do I feel worthless and unwanted … no longer do I hanker after the person I thought I knew … no longer does the hurt and pain I had drag me down.

Now I have a twinkle in my eye … a wee spring in my step … and a new smile just waiting to appear on my face …

Here is to the hurdles that teach us all about life!
