Brae. A gay woman's tale!

Another day of walking today… only 5 miles…. 2 at Whitehaven an 3 at Whinlatter Forest…. mostly uphill!! Sprouty and me are peched pot!!

Beautiful day in the Lakes today…. 2 walks including taking in a fabulous waterfall at Aria Force… and then a wander around Ambleside…. total of 11 miles walked between the two… and ended the day with a sail up to Bowness and back…. followed by dinner back at Ambleside… now back at the caravan totally shattered!!!

Pictures from Windemere today… and the result of Sprouts lead going around my leg!! Ruined my brand new walking trousers but just glad I didn’t have shorts on!!

Plugged the caravan in this morning so my fridge will be ready for later. Problem is the plug is too big to pass through letterbox and I’m too wee to pass it through a window… the door kept blowing open… the window brush solved the problem… it will have to stay like this all night though… guess I’ll be using the back door!!

I can’t wait…. I have been very busy between work and the gym… so I’m definitely ready for the break.

Karen and I intend to go wild swimming… so, in the vain hope that I might persuade Sprout to get her feet wet, I have bought her a buoyancy vest! Think she has a way to go before she matches Karen’s wee dog though… he sits on her body board and surfs!!!

it’s amazing how shallow some people are.
